Literary Innovator of Pearson Passages

Prairie View A&M University graduate Keisha E. Pearson developed a passion for words early in life. She shared this passion with high school and college students before publishing her first novel after a five-year stint at San Jacinto College as a developmental English teacher.
During the course of her time at SJC, the classroom became her reading and writing lab. She tried various short stories on her students in the form of exercises that focused on grammar topics until a character had been created in her imagination and grew through nourishment of literary theories while studying graduate English. This was the birth of her fiction writing career and she has not turned back yet.

After 24 years of teaching high school and college English, Pearson has dedicated her time to develop other literary works and increase awareness of literacy.
